WOW! I thought HAT would be just my idea - but it seems that this is a much larger problem than I could have imagined! There are many HAT groups sprouting up nationwide – and more husbands joining us every day!

I have been jokingly telling everyone I know that I would start a “Husbands Against Twilight website” and call it the HAT Club - to cuss and discuss with other husbands affected by this book. To vent about our wife’s obsession – the torture we have endured as a result of the hypnotizing of our wives (or girlfriends) by this – this epidemic of virulent words designed to program women and create unfair expectations of their “man”.

If you are still unfamiliar with the books or the movie now – consider yourself lucky – but it’s inevitable that your path will cross sometime soon if you have a girlfriend or a wife. It is vital we spread the word and help support those men and their families – its for the children’s sake that we must expose this secret society – there is a plot much larger than the book or movie itself.

For my wife, it started as an innocent gift from a long-time high school girlfriend of hers. What harm could possibly come from a simple book, right? Little did I know – this gift would affect the very fabric of my marriage. I never knew how bad it was until after my wife started re-reading the books she already re-read… She started to SLEEP with the books – takes them to Chuckie-Cheese’s with the kids – even to CHURCH! And please don’t get me stared on the “why can’t you be more like him…” stuff I am hearing daily now - not to mention the trinkets, key chains and posters that are vaguely reminiscent of a dictatorial country’s leader having posters and statues made and plastered everywhere.

I can’t take it anymore. This has GOT to STOP… We must EXPOSE the hidden agenda of the publishers and the author – they are creating a massive militia of indoctrinated and well trained women who’s only goal is to let us men know how BAD we truly are. I wouldn’t be surprised if the authors were hippie activists for women in the past and have finally found a way to get back at us MEN – by using this series of books and movies to form the largest militia in the world – of women – dedicated to making men’s lives miserable!

And since when does a 19 year old kid in the movie seem more attractive than the man she’s been married to since we were 19??!!! It’s bad I tell you! We must organize and coordinate our efforts. We need a guide to combat the hypnotized zombies which were once our wives. I never had to beg – but… it’s bad…

It’s like a terrible nightmare where I’m stuck in a VH1 or MTV reality show with my wife and find out that she’s hooking up with all the other guys in the “house”… There must be something in the bible about this – something the spiritual leaders can help with out there. Pastors around the world are seeing this too – it’s time, gentlemen, we MUST ACT! Call your pastors – call your (male) senators and congressmen – we need to unionize and create a counterforce to combat this plague – mankind depends on us! We must save our women from their own demise!

Organize! I’ll host for FREE a community forum for organizing HAT clubs around the U.S. – open to the world community. We need community leaders and all men suffering from this epidemic to unite and coordinate our efforts – we’ll have to start by identifying other men in similar situations – get them to admit that they have a dilemma to solve and encourage them to join us online for support - we can coordinate HAT club meetings at the bowling lanes over some beer or at your favorite hole-in-the-wall no-twilight-chicks-allowed pubs… YES - we need a secret society logo and a guidebook for supporting the newly identified men suffering from this. We can then distribute our signs to bars and “twilighted-safe-houses” where men who have been “Twilighted” by their wives can come, sob and get support – and participate in our anti-Twilight activities to once again get the much-deserved attention of our wives!

I think I could organize a lot of my businessmen friends to give us coupons and discounts on limo rides, restaurant, club vip tickets, liquor, activity planners and get some tips from Dr. Drew, Dr. Phil or some other well-known celebrity doctor-type to help us – in a massive coordinated effort – combat the effects of this book – and take our wives back!

I feel like that guy in that movie – Fireproof  (a fantastic movie) – where the husband had to finally step up and scare the living snot out of the would-be sleaze bag that was seducing his wife – basically telling him to go away because he was still the husband and would fight for her and that being her husband still put him in the lead for her! I think this is what our women need – they need us to fight for them – pull them back from the abuse and tyranny which is the master plan of this series is seemingly recruiting for.

We must stop the vituperative language this book causes our otherwise happy women to utter about us! We don’t deserve this – we must show them the light. We can only do it by organizing our own anti-twilight groups and get our local business leaders, media members, spiritual leaders and political leaders to “get involved” – if ever a time we needed to organize as a nation – as a world of men who need our wives – now is the time!
